Credit Card transactions through our encrypted and secure merchant account with Westpac Bank. We never see your credit card details.
Direct Deposit into our bank account
We want you to be satisfied with your purchases. If something you have purchased is not what you expected, please contact us to discuss and we will authorise your return. We accept returns of items that are unworn, unused or unopened, or faulty within 14 days of you receiving the item. You can choose to either exchange the item/s or a full refund. The customer is liable for shipping costs incurred with returns and exchanges. Please be aware that you still have full rights to consumer protection under NSW Fair Trading laws.
UPDATE - WE ARE NOW SHIPPING DAILY. Very occasionally due to the high turnover of some items shipping may be delayed, in which case we will email you to advise the ETA of your shipment.
PLEASE NOTE - Express Post orders must be received by 1pm to ship that day, orders received after 1pm will ship the following business day.
Payments by Direct Deposit may take 24 - 48 hours to arrive in our bank account. We ship goods once payment has been received.
If your order is urgent (ie you're running out of nappies) please call us on 02 9363 5838 and we will do what we can to help you out of the tight spot.
We use Australia Post and Fastway Couriers for delivery. We take great care to make sure that your purchases are wrapped and packaged for safe delivery.
Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout prior to finalising your purchase.
We may choose to send your order by a faster or more expensive delivery service at our discretion and cost, though we won't send your order by a slower or cheaper delivery service.
Freight charges for courier delivery
Sydney - Flat rate courier delivery charge of $15 for up to 2 cartons of nappies to Sydney addresses.
East Coast capital cities and Regional NSW - For $15 we can courier single cartons of nappies to other East Coast capital cities, from Wollogong to Newcastle and to many Mid and Far North Coast locations, and to areas within an approx 100km radius of Melbourne and Brisbane. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your delivery address is covered by our courier.
Freight charges for Australia Post
Australia Post shipping costs are calculated by Australia Post's software, you are charged the cost of shipping the volumetric weight of the items in your shopping cart. You are provided a choice of regular or express post at the checkout.
Shipping quotes can be obtained by using the button "Get shipping quote" just below your shopping cart in the right hand menu. You simply enter your postcode and a quote is generated. You don't need to go through the whole new customer sign up process if you just want a quote.

Once we have shipped your goods, ownership is transferred from ecobabe to the customer. In the rare situation that a postal or courier item goes missing or takes longer to deliver than usual ecobabe accepts no liability for replacing the goods lost by the carrier. We will do our best to trace your missing parcel and speed up its delivery, this process is completed through the carrier's missing item claim procedure. We've had very few lost parcels over the past 7 years, our lost parcel rate is 0.000666% - pretty good heh! Sometimes parcels can take the scenic route before arriving at your address, but our experience is that they do generally arrive, except for the 5 that Australia Post have actually declared "lost" over the past 7 years - in this case we have sent replacement goods to the recipient.
We ship to most countries, for the countries listed at our checkout individual postal charges are calculated at the checkout. If your country is not listed please contact email@example.com prior to finalising your purchase and we will advise of postage costs.
For delivery to countries outside of Australia we use Australia Post.
Our recycling program and your packaging
ecobabe is dedicated to limiting the use of excess packaging materials when shipping items to our customers. Where possible, we reuse boxes and packing supplies from what has been shipped to us or collected from local businesses. This helps cut the amount of needless materials that would otherwise find its way to local landfills, in addition to helping cut the cost of shipping for our customers.
So when you receive a carefully wrapped delivery from us, please do not expect a brand new cardboard box. Instead, expect a reused box. And if you see packing peanuts (which are biodegradable) or bubble wrap inside, know that we are simply reusing them and doing our best to keep these materials from entering the waste-stream by reusing them. Thank you for your support and understanding and please reuse our packaging wherever you can.
We use Jiffy ShurTuf mailer bags in an effort to reduce our delivery costs, a saving which we pass onto our customers. These bags are recyclable, they are made from LDPE plastic and are marked with the symbol below and in most areas can be placed out for collection with your other plastics for Council recycling collection. Check your local Council's recycling program for details at www.recyclingnearyou.com.au
