Payment
All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD$)

We accept the following payment types:

• credit card transactions through our encrypted and secure merchant account
• direct deposit into our bank account, or
• cheque/money order.

Shipping
We work towards shiping orders within 48 hours of receipt of payment.  All items at ecobabe are kept in stock, very occasionally due to the high turnover of some items shipping may be delayed, in which case we will email you to advise the ETA of your shipment.

Please note: ecobabe is run by a work at home Mum and whilst I generally can ship orders everyday, there are some days when the needs of my children are greater than the demands of ecobabe.

Payments by Direct Deposit may take 24 - 48 hours to arrive in our bank account. We will only ship goods once payment has been received.

If your order is urgent (ie you're running out of nappies or have a sick baby) please call us on 0414 521 466 and we will do what we can to help you out of the tight spot.


Freight charges for the delivery of nappy cartons.

Sydney
Flat rate courier delivery charge of $12 for up to 2 cartons of nappies to Sydney addresses.

East Coast capital cities and Regional NSW
For $12 we can courier single cartons of nappies to other East Coast capital cities, from Wollogong to Newcastle and to many Mid and Far North Coast locations, and to areas within an approx 200km radius of Melbourne and Brisbane.

For all other delivery addresses choose Australia Post as the shipping method for your nappy order.

If you live in a regional, rural or remote area or have a large order and you're unsure about delivery charges please feel free to email us or call prior to placing your order and we can confirm delivery costs with you.

We apologise for our East Coast and capital city bias on our shipping  methods, this is solely due to economies of scale and our purchasing power with courier companies and Australia Post.

Delivery
We generally use Australia Post or Fastway Couriers for delivery. We take great care to make sure that your purchases are wrapped and packaged for safe delivery.

We offer three methods of shipping, Australia Post Regular Parcel Post, Australia Post Express Parcel Post and Courier. Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout prior to finalising your purchase.

Express Post overnight delivery closes at 1pm. This service does not operate on weekends.

For large, heavy or bulky orders, such as nappy orders (see above), we use a courier for delivery to the East Coast capital cities and up and down the NSW costline, the charge is $12.00. For deliveries of large, heavy or bulky orders to regional NSW and other Australian locations please select Australia Post Regular Parcel Post as your shipping method.

We may choose to send your order by a faster or more expensive delivery service at our discretion and cost, though we won't send your order by a slower or cheaper delivery service.

Please note: once we have shipped your goods, ownership is transferred from ecobabe to the customer. In the rare situation that a postal or courier item goes missing or takes longer to deliver than usual ecobabe accepts no liability for replacing the goods lost by Australia Post or other carriers. We will do our best to trace your missing parcel and speed up its delivery, this process is completed through the carrier's missing item claim procedure. Where the parcel is deemed as 'lost' Australia Post pay up to $50 compensation to ecobabe the sender, to compensate for the replacement cost of the missing items. We do not send replacement goods until the missing item claim procedure has been completed.

International Orders
We will ship to most countries, for the countries listed at our checkout individual postal charges will be calculated at the checkout. If your country is not listed in our postal list please contact sales@ecobabe.com.au prior to finalising your purchase and we will advise of postage costs.

For delivery to countries outside of Australia we use Australia Post International Parcel Post air mail and economy air mail services.

Returns
We want you to be satisfied with your purchases. If something you have purchased is not what you expected, please return the item/s unworn, unused or unopened and within 14 days. You can choose to either exchange the item/s or a full refund (shipping excluded).

Our recycling program and your packaging
ecobabe is dedicated to limiting the use of excess packaging materials when shipping items to our customers. Where possible, we reuse boxes and packing supplies from what has been shipped to us or collected from local businesses. This helps cut the amount of needless materials that would otherwise find its way to local landfills, in addition to helping cut the cost of shipping for our customers.

So when you receive a beautifully wrapped gift from us, please do not expect a brand new cardboard box. Instead, expect a reused box. And if you see Styrofoam peanuts or bubble wrap inside, know that we are simply reusing them and doing our best to keep these materials from entering the waste-stream by recycling them. Thank you for your support and understanding and please reuse our packaging wherever you can.

We have recently started using Jiffy ShurTuf mailer bags in an effort to reduce our delivery costs, a saving which we pass onto our customers. These bags are recyclable, they are made from LDPE plastic and are marked with the symbol below and in most areas can be placed out for collection with your other plastics for Council recycling collection.  Check your local Council's recycling program for details at
