Quality disposable nappies – no compromise!

Bambo Nature nappies have all the features you look for in a premium disposable nappy, but the manufacturing process is environmentally friendly.

Gentle on baby’s skin
The allergy tested raw material used in the manufacture of Bambo Nature disposable nappies contains no PVC, perfumes, moisturising lotions, optical brighteners or chlorine, reducing the likelihood of your baby having an allergic reaction or rashes.

Absorbent core with biodegradable starch
Bambo Nature's highly absorbent fluff pulp core also contains a superabsorber made of 100% biodegradable wheat starch. So while your baby is happy and dry, you can be satisfied that Bambo Nature nappies have been manufactured with the environment in mind.

Manufactured with the environment in mind
Bambo Nature is the only nappy to have been awarded the Nordic Swan Eco Label. The Swan Label requirements assess the nappy's environmental impact during its whole life cycle, including the way the nappy is produced and the way the raw materials are chosen and handled.

The production process minimises the consumption of energy, factory emissions and the use of environmentally hazardous substances in the product. State-of-the-art techniques are used to save and recycle raw materials wherever possible, and the manufacturer reuses all production waste.

The Danish manufacturer uses 100% biodegradable fluff pulp from a controlled Scandinavian forest where more trees are planted than are felled. The pulp used is oxygen bleached, not chlorine bleached.

Even the packaging is produced with the environment in mind, using only materials which can be 100% recycled or incinerated.

Are Bambo Nature disposable nappies biodegradable or recyclable? It’s important to remember that there is no such thing as a biodegradable disposable nappy. Parts of a disposable nappy are potentially biodegradable, but whether they do biodegrade and how long it takes depends on the type of landfill, and whether bacteria needed for decomposition have access to air, water and light. Most disposable nappies end up in landfill. Landfill is anaerobic, meaning that there is no access to air, water and light. Nappies thrown into landfill will not biodegrade.
